My Story

Even when I was little, my parents would ask me, “what do you want to be when you’re older?” Of course when I was young, I’d say things like a mermaid or an actress or whatever. But when it came time to actually decide what I might want to do for a career, I was lost. I had several interests, but didn’t really know what I’d be good at or how to incorporate those things into a career.

It wasn’t until after college, and after graduate school, that I realized what I wanted to do, what I wanted to be.

My background in art and education has given me a sense of empathy that other fields can’t match. I’ve been challenged to think in ways I never had before and grew to understand what is important in a career.

I love to be creative, learn knew things, and be challenged. I need to be part of a team that embraces differences and uplifts each other. I want my work to have meaning and an impact on people.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and my pets. I watch a lot of sports, particularly ice hockey and the USWNT.
