9th Grade Ceramics Pinch Mug

The first project my Ceramics class did was create a mug using the pinch method. I demonstrated the method and then the students had ample time to practice. Once they felt comfortable with pinching, they made sketches of different mugs they’d like to make. They chose their favorite and then constructed it. They love having something that they are able to use right off the bat.
